Statement of Interest
As a father of two wonderful daughters who share a deep interest in giving back to their community and place a high value on education, I am inspired to take action and make a meaningful contribution to an organization like Samakkee. My motivation is deeply rooted in a desire to create a platform that empowers future Thai Americans, including my own daughters, as well as Thai professionals throughout the United States.
I firmly believe in the transformative power of education and mentorship. These two pillars have been instrumental in shaping my own journey as a first-generation Thai immigrant who arrived in this country 28 years ago. Through hard work and determination, I had the privilege of attending one of the top universities in the United States and subsequently securing a position at a top-tier company. This experience has instilled in me a profound belief in the potential for success that lies within the Thai American community.
My aspiration is to serve as a bridge between generations. I see an incredible opportunity to use my skills and experiences to facilitate meaningful connections between our older generation, who have paved the way for us, and the emerging leaders of tomorrow. By fostering an environment of mentorship and collaboration, we 8 can advance the Thai American community while ensuring that our youth continue to value and embrace our rich cultural traditions. I am committed to helping Samakkee fulfill its mission of uniting and empowering Thai Americans across the nation.
Furthermore, I am deeply interested in running for the position of At-large Director at the Samakkee Summit. This role aligns perfectly with my passion for community service, education, and bridging generational gaps. If given the opportunity, I will bring my dedication, skills, and vision to the organization, working tirelessly to enhance its impact and ensure that it remains a beacon of empowerment for Thai Americans nationwide.
In essence, my involvement with Samakkee and my intent to run for At-large Director are driven by a heartfelt dedication to fostering unity, education, and pride within the Thai American community. I am excited about the prospect of working together to create a brighter future for all Thai Americans, including my daughters, and I am eager to contribute my skills and passion to this important cause.

I’m a seasoned Data Scientist currently serving as a senior professional at AT&T. With a passion for data and a commitment to community service, I've embarked on a journey that blends my technical expertise with my dedication to making a positive impact on the world.
Over the past decade, I've played a pivotal role in supporting and championing the Thai community. As both a community leader and a social media influencer, I've connected with over 1.3 million followers who share my enthusiasm for our culture and causes. Through various platforms, I've strived to raise awareness, promote unity, and contribute to the well-being of our vibrant community.
One of my proudest achievements is breaking barriers as the first Thai American to hold the position of president at the Monterey Park Rotary Club in the last 80 years. I dedicated four years of my life to this esteemed organization, during which I spearheaded transformative initiatives that led to remarkable growth. Through my leadership, the club's Interact Club, dedicated to mentoring young Rotarians, expanded from a modest 10 members to an impressive 100 members in less than two years. This accomplishment symbolizes my unwavering commitment to nurturing the leaders of tomorrow and fostering a sense of community engagement.
In my professional role at AT&T, I continue to leverage my data-driven skills to drive innovation and progress. My career journey is a testament to my ability to bridge the 9 worlds of technology and community service, constantly seeking ways to make a meaningful difference.
