The purpose of this year’s Summit is to address various social issues impacting our community as well as highlighting opportunity areas that may be of interest to the group including:

 

• The importance of community organization and what can we do to enhance this awareness

​

• The proposed Immigration Reform – what are the potential social and economic impacts?  What should our community need to know about this Bill and how can we part take in voicing our opinions as a community?

 

• Economic Development Opportunities – What are the available programs for minority/women owned businesses. How can we capitalize on the economic growth in Thailand and Southeast Asian Countries?

 

• Other concerns of the community i.e. impact of the new healthcare reform, senior citizen benefits, etc.
