Mickey Witchuwong is a multifaceted professional dedicated to leadership, community service,

and Innovation. With a background in computer engineering from Asian University and a master's degree in accounting from Northeastern Illinois Universitv in Chicago, Mickey has excelled academically, also serving as Class President for the College of Business during his studies.

 

In 2013, Mickey embarked on a transformative journey by enlisting in the United States Army through the Military Accessions Vital to National Interest (MAVNI) program. Over eight years of service, including four years in Active duty and four years in the DC Army National Guard Mickey showcased exemplary leadership as a financial management technician and team leader.

His military career included deployments to South Korea, Germany, and Romania, providing crucial financial support to military operations.

 

After completing his military service, Mickey transitioned into the financial services sector, where he gained valuable experience at renowned institutions like Goldman Sachs Subsequently, he assumed the role of Financial Crime Auditor at U.S. Immigration and Custom:

Enforcement (ICE). Later, he pivoted to become a Budget Analyst for the US Department of Justice (DOJ) and US Department of Commerce (DOC), further refining his skills in budget formulation and financial analysis, overseeing budgets exceeding $50 billion for key agencies.

Presentlv. Mickey serves as a Supervisor Budget Analvst at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) in Washington DC, leveraging his expertise to effectively support the agency's

 

Passionate about community empowerment, Mickey served as a Vice President for his Homeowner Association, overseeing the management of 90 townhome units in Washington DC with property values exceeding $80 million. Additionally, he has recently been appointed as one of the Board Directors of the Thai American Community (SAMAKKEE), where he continues to foster unity and support within the community

 

In addition to his professional achievements, Mickey is deeply committed to sharing his knowledge and experiences with others. He launched the YouTube channel "Mickey Journey

USA." offering valuable insights and guidance to Thai immigrants navigating life in the U Furthermore, Mickey is spearheading the development of "CARRYLUG," a startup venture aimed at revolutionizing global shipping processes

 

Mickey is passionate about extreme sports such as snowboarding, skydiving, and rock climbing relishing the thrill and challenge they offer. He also finds solace in golfing, valuing its precision

and focus. Mickey's love for travel, diverse cuisines, cultural experiences, and music festivals fuels his adventurous spirit and enriches his life. With visits to over 40 countries, he has gained a deeper understanding of global cultures and broadened his perspectives.
