Statement of Interest

 

As Co-President, I am committed to fostering leadership development, strengthening cultural identity, and advancing civic engagement within the Thai American community. By working collaboratively with the Coalition’s leadership and members, I hope to support initiatives that promote unity, expand opportunities, and empower the next generation. It would be a privilege to serve in this capacity and to contribute to a stronger, more connected Thai American community.

Bio

Dr. Jack Paduntin is a higher education leader with more than three decades of experience. He currently serves as President of the California Institute of Advanced Management (CIAM) in Los Angeles. His prior leadership appointments include President of Pacific Oaks College; Vice President and Chief of Staff at John F. Kennedy University; President of National University International; Vice President of Institutional Research and Assessment at National University; Associate Dean at California State University San Bernardino; and Assistant Professor of Management at Brescia University.

 

Dr. Paduntin has made significant contributions to quality assurance and institutional effectiveness. He has served on the Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award and participated in multiple accreditation review teams for the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WSCUC). He also served on the Executive Committee of the Association of Independent California Colleges and Universities (AICCU). 

 

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Ramkhamhaeng University in Thailand, an MBA in International Management from the University of Dallas, and a Doctorate in Business Administration with a concentration in Strategic Management from Alliant International University.

 

As an immigrant from Thailand, Dr. Paduntin brings personal insight into the challenges faced by students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds. His career reflects a steadfast commitment to advancing educational equity, broadening access, and supporting the success of minority communities. He remains deeply dedicated to fostering inclusion, opportunity, and community empowerment through education and service.
